Team:Volunteers

Teardown, with caution to the sensitive gear.

Content and Team:Broadcast

To anticipate special requests Productiehuis *MUST* be kept in the loop to facilitate properly. Examples:

  • Additional close-up camera
  • Interfaces to audio, video, etc
  • Dual beamer requirements perhaps
  • Amount of microphones required per stage
  • Facilitate conference calls of proprietary protocols/media/carriers
  • Other stuff which requires magic to pull off a hat trick and avoid a last-minute McGuyver hack 5 minutes before stage time.

Team:Infodesk

Communicate to speakers about:

  • wiring up their microphone
  • laptop connectivity to the beamer and streamers.

Team:Infrastructure

  • Productiehuis must be able to coordinate on the Tents and apply for requirements.
  • Productiehuis will have special power requirements for the lighting, AV, streaming and radio.
    • Radio requirements are unknown, but might require more than regular 240V.
    • Lighting at every stage will require sufficient power to each tent.
    • Power to audio and lighting must be separated to avoid overload.
    • The audio system should be galvanically in harmony to avoid 50Hz buzzzing at the stage and front-of-stage setup.
  • Team Productiehuis needs sufficient floorspace to setup monitoring of all camera feeds of each tent, monitor the VOC infrastructure itself and the upstream Content Delivery Network health and to support people with streaming problems. The location needs to be close to the NOC to enable VOC to directly contact NOC people when an outage occurs.

Team:Logistics

Before event start:

  • transport/receive gear from c3voc
  • store gear from c3voc
  • receive and store gear from other sources
  • availability to pre-service the gear before move transport to the terrain. Example: add/upgrade video-capture cards into c3voc gear and test with a micro-setup for unit testing.
  • store gear with sufficient safely and security
  • transport gear to terrain
  • return gear from terrain to storage
  • re-distribute gear to c3voc and other sources

Team:DECO

The stages must look pretty, besides just functional. Style is everything. We also need functional lighting in the tents. Team Productiehuis will need help with:

  • Stage designing, making it part of the Theme.
  • Tables on stage must be decorated.
  • Presenter table / laptop stand must be decorated
  • Backdrop must be functional for the video streaming, but perhaps themed.
  • Lighting surrounding the stage must be pretty and functional. In stage tents controlled by the lighting crew.

Team:Lounge

Coherent audio/DJ-gear with the lounge makes it possible to use the audio from the Lounge for broadcasting on radio, streaming or just get gear at one AV-supplier.

Team:NOC

Team Productiehuis will need technical help:

  • Modern audio and lighting equipment might need a private network. This might influence the radio spectrum or require a separated/secured stage-tech network.
  • A dedicated/secured network (for security and continuity reasons) for:
    • streamers from tents to VOC
    • from VOC to Content Delivery Network
    • VOC itself
    • Monitoring each tent equipment health
    • Monitoring the Content Delivery Network

Team:Sysadmin

Team Productiehuis will need:

  • housing and hosting for local streaming infrastructure
  • Local storage of streaming data for local backup
  • Access to a Content Delivery Network (upstream)
  • (Virtual) machines to monitor the health of the VOC infrastructure.

Other

Team Productiehuis will need:

  • Insurance related contact
  • Financial contact
  • c3voc gear
