About
To reduce the total amount of kilometers to be driven and the amount of vehicles rented by the organization, Team Logistics provides off-site transport for other Teams.
Requesting transport
Send the following details before $date_TBD to sha2017[at]maeddoc[dot]nl:
If you need stuff transported at different pickup/return dates, please list the requests seperately!
- Team:
- Contact: Name, e-mail, phone, irc, all the things. If anything's good or wrong, you'll know :)
- Stuff: What you need transported
- Fragile: True/false
- Estimated size (length*width*height): Please try to fit stuff on wrapped pallets, having nothing stick out on the sides, height up to 2.20m
- Pallets: Amount of pallets
- Pickup date: DD-MM-YYYY HH:mm (if TBD, guess)
- Return date: DD-MM-YYYY HH:mm (^^)
- Pickup location: City, street, number
- Return location: City, street, number

- Off-site pick-up and delivery (FIND SUBTEAMLEAD; training: Manduca, isACK?) - Vans - Picking things up - Returning them - Fleet supervision - Idea: put container at strategic locations (at hackerspaces) a few weeks before the event, everyone brings stuff and puts it in there, transport containers to field. (instead of doing all pickups and deliveries from/to everywhere.)
