Please provide Team:Volunteers with the types of angels you will be needing during SHA2017, so we can make sure people can sign up for these in the Angelsystem and we can provide you will all the help you need!

    • Task description: Go on a road trip through the Netherlands before, after and possibly during the event, picking up things for teams in a truck. Always done in a driver/copilot team to share the load of navigation, communication, loading/unloading, driving, maneuvering tight spaces and generally looking out between two people. Both teams of two as well as single volunteers welcome! Drivers should be able to safely and responsibly drive a heavy truck through traffic.     • Task description: pulling out binbags from trashcans, driving golf-cart, operation trashcompactor
    • Requirements: Drivers license (for the Golf Cart)

  • Angeltype: Ferry Master
    • Task description: Is the captain on the ferry between the Safe Harbour at SHA2017 and the hotel across the water/the WSV Nulde/ships anchored nearby and in need of transportation. The ferry only runs when asked for based on a schedule. You must be able to run a boat with some experience (when possible with a limited license for inland and coastal waters - Vaarbewijs I/II) and when possible also a VHF License (Marifoon bedieningscertificaat/Marcom B of Marcom A). There is a limited budget available to obtain VHF-licenses.
    • IMPORTANT NOTICE: The ferry is a safe way of transportation and thus the operator needs to be sober when running the shift. Obviously the use of Club Mate is widely supported.

  • Escort trucks to and from the field during buildup,
  • Guide them to their designated buildup-location,
  • Make sure they only drive on the paved roads,
  • Tell them to hurry with unloading so other vehicles can enter the field,
  • Instruct them to put a sticker on the map near the entrance

During the Event

Team Villages will have a desk at the info-tent. The village guide will work at this "office" and do the following things:

  • Answer village-relatet questions
  • Take care of the awesome map
  • Be a runner/jack-of-all-trades

During Teardown

  • Check if the villages leave their spots clean
  • Help coordinate the schedule for leaving the terrain
