This is the TODO list for Team:Productiehuis

Feel free to add to this or modify the existing entries.

Equipment/Gear track tents
Description: Figure out what equipment/gear we need to have for which track tents.

Things like:

  • Microphones/Headsets
  • Beamers/Projectors (Whatever you want to call them)
  • Stagelights (Spot lights, flood lights, etc...)
  • Lights on Stage (decorative) (RGB spots/washes, etc..)
  • Rigging equipment (Truss, Truss winches?/elevators?, etc... )

Figure this out for each track tent

    • Q: What kind of track tents we have that need equipment? (size, etc..)
    • Q: How many track tents are there that need equipment?



Equipment/Gear Storage (on-site)
Description: Figure out if we need/have a central place where we store: the gear we currently don't need, empty flight-cases (when they are in the way) or flight-cases with cables (since most cables will come together in one or more flight-cases).

Note: I could not find any information about previous events where something like this was available and/or if it was organised by the a/v team itself. dave_o

    • Q: Was this available?
      • A: There is quite a bit of backstage area. That is were we stored all empty flightcases. Also we set up a little 'shop' backstage with all cables and parts we might be needing during the event. If there is very expensive / sensitive gear, we might be storing it in a car or bungalow instead.
    • Q: If this was available, could it be better? Do we actually need this?
      • A: Yes, we need this! As far as I remember there was not much we could do to improve this storage.
    • Q: If it wasn't, what was the solution previously?
      • A: This was available



Rental Equipment/Gear
Description: Figure out what we need to rent and where we rent it.

Suggestions for rental places:

Projectors
Description: Of all the stuff we need to rent, the projectors take up most of our budget. High resolution, high brightness projectors are expensive equipment! To my surprise a visitor brought a similar projector to project films on the outside of one of the track tents because he had a bunch of those projector sitting around anyway. If we could ask around for projectors and maybe borrow one instead of renting, that would free up quite a bit of monies to spend on other things.

  • Projector specs:
    • Q: Amount of lumen?
      • A: during HAR and OHM we used 10k ansi lumen for the big track tents and 6k ansi lumen for the smaller track tents.
    • Q: Which connections to the projector do we need? (vga, hdmi, etc..)
      • A: SDI (wikipedia) is preferred, otherwise HDMI.
    • Q: How many projectors do we need?



Video converter boxes
Description: For OHM2013 many video converter boxes were bought. vga -> hdmi, hdmi -> sdi, sdi -> hdmi. Does anyone know which ones exactly and how many? Does anyone know where they are now?

Radio equipment
Description: The radio at the event needs equipment, previously points of contact have been User:Petzl (transmitter, tower, antenna, coax cable, audio optimiser(limiter/compressor)) and User:Brenno (equipment gathering and radio license)
