Logistics |\/|337 december 2016

Preparations for meeting to be done here.

  • Please share everything that you want to tell everyone beforehand etc on the mailinglist and put questions / discussion items on this page.
  • If you know answers to questions below, or know where to find them, or want to email people about them to get answers, Cc: the mailing list, so we know who's doing what. (It makes no sense to agree on questions and sit there during the meeting without answers looking at each other.)

1. Team-External things, add questions here that we need to get answered

  • Is the location definitive?
    • Last info: (Attilla, dec 5) "We zijn nu bezig met het afronden van het contract met scouting en vergunning."
  • Who is doing maps? Who is putting things where, and who from logistics talks to who from where to make sure we can live with the result?
    • -> Attilla, Redlizard; at least Manduca has been talking to them sat nov 26
    • Knorrie asked Redlizard for a copy of the map http://sha2017-map.redlizard.nl/ But, not much info yet, but see notes below for more.
  • Which other teams are doing big orders? road mats? traffic signs? What is our proposal fup the Attilla renting questions mail?
  • Team arrival/departure (To shuttle or not to shuttle) is unclear. There has not been a response to the idea. We tend not to spend effort on it because it's not our responsibility, still, the idea of having a good arrival/departure experience (the little things that make it great!) has huge value for visitors and their memories of the camp.
    • Can someone ping Attilla/Projectleiding about this idea again?

2. Subteams, add everything you want ask about / discuss. If you want to tell things, tell them beforehand on the ml plz:

  • Review scope of each subteam, make sure that expectations and reality meet (make sure we can clearly communicate to others what is done in which subteam, and what is not done by us).
  • What questions do we know others have about us? Do we know if the wiki info (scope) about the team is clear?
  • Off-site: How do we promote the position so the correct person to do it will actually find/see it?
  • On-site: Can we take ownership of the rental discussion (or at least: steer it, so many efficient BAM BAM BAM)

There's not enough to do yet to switch to BAM BAM BAM orga mode, so nothing happens, which is fine, but not for long:

3. When do subteams need to be active?

  • Agree on how often we report progress on our mailing list (other people do not magically know what you're doing!)
  • Define date on which each subteam needs to be active (like, if there are no frequent signs of activity/progress e.g. on the mailinglist -> somethings going wrong).
